Financial literacy is one of the most important skills that young people need to learn, but is something rarely taught in school today. This is an critical issue that needs to be addressed, and teachers can play an important role.
Whatever career a person chooses, they will have difficulty succeeding in life if they don’t learn how to handle their own money. Many parents have problems with their own finances, and are unable or unwilling to teach their children these basic life skills. It thus falls to schools and teachers to fill this role.
